Fred Astaire arrived in Hollywood at the age of 35 and received this comment from a Paramount Studios executive after one of his first auditions. He had the comment card framed and hung on his wall for the rest of his career to remind him that inauspicious starts need not discourage those who truly believe. Remember, talented is just a fancy way of saying 'hard working'.
