My life, My card...

I’m in D.C. visiting my brother and his family, and I can’t sleep. Everyone else has gone to bed, so it’s just me and a Time magazine. While flipping through it, I noticed the American Express adverts – you know, the one in which they ask a bunch of famous people to answer some simple questions, then end it with “my card – American Express.”

So, here is mine:

My...

name: Nicholas Saadah
childhood ambition: to be an astronaut
fondest memory: spending my childhood summers in Lebanon
soundtrack: lately – The Nutcracker Suite :-)
retreat: ballet class
wildest dream: to dance professionally
proudest moment: a standing ovation after playing the lead of the Stanford Musical
biggest challenge: not obsessing about things
alarm clock: is really more of a decoration
perfect day: building houses for poor families in Uganda
first job: working at my high school’s bookstore
indulgence: candy!
last purchase: dinner for my mom and friends at Mely’s
favorite movie: Singin’ in the Rain
inspiration: Igor Youskevitch

My life: aimless, but fun
My card: has a $2,000 credit limit, which for those keeping score at home, is lower than the amount offered to college freshmen if they sign up for something for the sake of a free t-shirt!

Hi Nick, I'm thinking a Cohiba might suit me just fine. The credit card company will not automatically raise your limit...all you need to do is call and ask and they will gladly oblige. By the way we're a 780. Love,Aunt Susan
