My thought for this Sunday
I am coming to believe that one doesn't improve society by changing people's minds but rather by changing the minds of their children. As a people, we generally fear that which we don't understand while children, unencumbered by dogma and tradition, seem naturally drawn to the unexplored possibilities of change. Perhaps this explains why social advancements take generations, not years to succeed.
With four thousand years of recorded history, I am constantly bewildered by each generations mocking of their parents stubbornness in the midst of their own resistance to change.
