Page of the Day

Hello and welcome to my page of the day.  My name is Nicholas and I am here in Aix-en-Provence, France studying classical dance this year.  While I am studying in France, I will put one photo of my promenades on this page each day.  As such, if you look at it often, you will know exactly what I am doing.  I hope that you like it and don't forget to write me at saadah@stanfordalumni.org.  So long!

Picture for April 3, 2003:
Hello!  This evening, the scholars were invited to eat with the Rotarians and to give presentations.  At the top, you see Mizuka who is from Japan and who gave a presentation on the kimono.  On the left, you see Julie Anne who spoke about her work with Hillary Clinton.  On the right, you see me giving a presentation on waltz, its history and some of the lesser known forms.

And finally, the moment for which you have all been waiting - the response to yesterday’s question!  How does one put a pear (yes, a pear, not a peach) in a bottle?  One puts the bottle around the pear before it grows!  The first person who send me the correct answer was Eric Stewart!  Congratulations Eric - you win…well, you don’t win anything, but you can be proud that your name is on the Page du Jour!
