Hello and welcome to my page of the day.  My name is Nicholas and I am here in Aix-en-Provence, France studying classical dance this year.  While I am studying in France, I will put one photo of my promenades on this page each day.  As such, if you look at it often, you will know exactly what I am doing.  I hope that you like it and don't forget to write me at saadah@stanfordalumni.org.  So long!

Here are the kids!  Wednesday night at the Saugeron’s house, there were many young people and we had a good time together.  Instead of telling you all their names, I’ll describe to you a conversation which made the whole room laugh.  I was sitting next to Laureen (the girl in the center with her hands under her chin) and she was playing with my digital camera.  She saw a picture of Tiffany on the camera which I had taken in Detroit and this is the conversation which followed:

Laureen:  Who is this?
Me:         That’s my girlfriend, Tiffany.
Laureen:  She’s very pretty.
Me:         Thank you.
Laureen:  I didn’t say you were pretty!

In a few hours I leave for Orange (a town in Provence) where I am spending the weekend.  So, you will not see a photo tomorrow, but you will see two photos on Sunday.  See you soon!
